Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co., Ltd. was established on January 15, 1907 as Toyo Ink Mfg. Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of printing inks. Rooted in the printing ink business, we have expanded to the field of high-performance chemicals via specialty materials such as functional pigments and precisely designed resins in the more than 100 years since the company was set up. Then, on April 1, 2011, aiming for new challenges and progress, and imbued with a strong sense of volition to implement a second launch, we moved to a holding company structure and change the company name to its current one. At present, the Toyo Ink Group encompasses consolidated subsidiaries and affiliated companies in 23 countries employing approximately 7,500 persons
